Hello I'm Dave Karroll

I'm a multidiscipline inventor and business person. In 1986 I started to develop and patent an EPS wall system, which has led to this presentation.

I had experience in the building supply industry, the manufacturing part of the construction industry, with a window and door plant in Prince George, BC in the the late 70's and early 80's.

I patented an EPS wall system, Patent # 1264107 issued January 02, 1990, shown as abandoned in 2006. I developed the wall system under two corporations, Superlock Ltd. which held the Canadian rights, and Superlock International Inc. which held the global rights. We operated a 10,000 sq. Ft. factory in Cloverdale BC, which was host to the office, the research and development department, the inventories and the manufacturing division.

 

We had one salesman in addition to myself who handled sales and shared in marketing. We generated sales of approximately 200 structures, which included a 3 story apartment building, a couple of multifamily projects, an industrial warehouse, a poultry barn complex, and over 100 single family structures. We participated in regional home shows selling to homeowners and contractors. We employed the services of a structural engineer who stamped our projects that required that engineered certification.The engineer also participated in testing our wall systems for structural values. That start-up failed after, due to a downturn in the Vancouver BC market and my main investor was forced to withdraw support, much to his dismay.

We were close to submitting changes to the Canadian/US building code systems, when we were forced to shut down. We will be pursuing changes to the building codes globally, to gain approval for this new system and technology.

I also invented and patented paint applicator US patent 7,305,732 B2 and tools, a China Patent on an adjustable paint applicator handle, shared with my manufacturer, Perry Gartner and Work fast Tools International Inc. and systems, demonstrated on video www.youtube.com/user/fastrimroller.

I also developed and ran a commercial residential painting business. The tools and systems were employed by numerous professional painters, as they improved quality, were at least 50% faster than traditional methods and were safer. Those applicators and handles were also sold and used by the average DIY painter. We had gained distribution through major North American Retailers, Including Cloverdale Paint in Canada. Due to COVID and unforeseen circumstances those products are currently on hold.

The presentation you are about to read will show you how current product and design changes will position this New EPS Prefabricated System as the worlds leading Building System.

You will see that we have solved all the major problems that have plagued the construction industry for 100's of years. We have fixed the air infiltration problem, solved the moisture damage issues, created a structurally solid system, that provides protection in seismically active areas. It will prove to be less expensive to build with, when compared to current construction methods. It will be a system that all of the construction trades will be happy to work with.  It will prove to be Super Energy Efficient and should when combined with advanced roof and siding products, will prove to be fire proof, stable in seismically active zones, maintenance free, durable and last for a Millennia.

We will be working with EPS board manufacturers and regulatory agencies globally to establish this system as the preferred method to build with around the world. Whether there are heating or cooling requirements this system will perform at the highest levels.

We are assembling a team that will make this happen globally. We will be starting off using English as our main communication language, but have plans to add Chinese, Spanish, French, Portuguese and German. Other languages will be added as necessary.
